TBS Comedy ‘Miracle Workers’ Casts Sasha Compère as Series Regular (EXCLUSIVE) The upcoming TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers” has cast Sasha Compère in a series regular role, Variety has learned exclusively. The series is described as a Heaven-set workplace comedy based on the book “What in God’s Name.” Daniel Radcliffe will play Craig, a low level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers. Steve Buscemi will play Craig’s boss, God, who has pretty much checked out to focus on his favorite hobbies.

Compère will play Laura, a sweet, intelligent, socially-awkward and lonely young woman who often finds herself being pushed around by her more confident and outgoing friends. When she meets Sam (Jon Bass), she feels she has found her kindred spirit, but she’s too nervous to make a move and show her interest. Compère has appeared in a number of television projects in her career. She has guest starred on shows such as TNT’s “Rizzoli and Isles,” NBC’s “Community,” and the Netflix series “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.” She also recently filmed the movie “Ad Astra” with Brad Pitt. She is repped by The Greenroom and attorneys Stone, Genow, Smelkinson, Binder & Christopher. “Miracle Workers” was created by “Man Seeking Woman” creator Simon Rich. Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer executive produce via Michaels’ Broadway Video. Broadway Video produces the series in association with Turner’s Studio T. The show received a seven-episode series order at TBS last spring.
