I’m a huge fan of the EP and it’s might even be my ep of the year! As much as I shitpost on the forum I wanted to do a serious review hehe. I love all the songs but this is my ranking!
4. The strip (6/10)
I’m sorry but this song was kind of like meh, still amazing but I feel that the other tracks in this ep out perform it so much!! It flows well with the ep so it’s still needed as a track but I feel like it’s not as unique as other songs if that makes sense? It feels like if all to(fn) songs where stuck together and put into one song it’s like the most to(fn) sounding song so it dosnt stand out as much
3. Wake Robin (8.5/10)
I love this song so much and I had trouble figuring out whether to put skins or Wake Robin here but I settled on this spot. I feel like this was a perfect debut single for the band and defines there sound perfectly, the beginning stabs are incredibly catchy and the buildup is super satisfying overall a great song!
2. Skins (9/10)
Personally I feel like this song is structured way better than the previous songs, it’s super catchy, and the build up is crazy, definitely a stand out track! It took some time to grow on me but after a few listening sessions I loved this track!! The end is obviously my favorite but overall the song is amazing and so are the lyrics
1. Escape from New York
I don’t even know what to say it’s just perfect!!! Like it’s the song that sticks in my head the most after listening and is one of my favorite songs from this year, I do find the intro quite like too quiet but that’s just my opinion!
Anyways I suck at reviews but I hope I was able to share my thoughts well enough haha overall I would give this ep a solid 9/10
