What's everyone up to today? I myself have work during the day, followed by a band rehearsal in the evening - a well-rounded day for sure.

Re: Wednesday
I myself am just finishing up work, am shortly going climbing at the rock gym, then shall be doing some writing. Also a well rounded day if I do say so myself.

That sounds delightful. Bill and I went climbing a couple of months ago, we managed to get to about level 4 then got too tired and couldn't even do level 2 by the end of the session... Really good fun though. It's a little after the fact now but the highlight of my Wednesday was an all you can eat burek buffet. If you're unfamiliar, it's a delightful kind of balkan filo pastry pie. A bit similar to the Greek spanakopita but can contain many different kinds of fillings!

It’s an absolute blast, I just recently got into it and totally agree—by the end of every session my arms are noodles. Is it a popular activity in the UK? We’re visiting in August and would love to visit a gym there.neil_thomson wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 9:06 amThat sounds delightful. I’m putting together a couple of blog posts for the music club I’m in, one that highlights my favourite music coming out of the local scene in Vancouver, and the other rounding up my favourite music from the first quarter of 2025.

That sounds delish, what fillings did you have? I'm not a fan of feta or red meat so might be a bit limited for me...daleph wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 11:45 am It's a little after the fact now but the highlight of my Wednesday was an all you can eat burek buffet. Yeah definitely a popular activity, especially recently, loved by London hipsters. The blog sounds cool, feel free to share it on this forum! We love sharing.soundwavesociety wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 3:27 pmIt’s an absolute blast, I just recently got into it and totally agree—by the end of every session my arms are noodles.
